Chemical Peels
Flawless Glo offers multiple levels of chemical peels ranging from superficial peels used to treat fine lines and wrinkles to large pores and dark spots. These chemical peels help tighten the skin. Medium depth peels used to treat skin that has a significant amount of photodamage, sun spots, mild to moderate acne scars, crepey skin under the eyes or dark circles. Our deepest peels, target more serious skin issues such as severe acne scars, excessive sun damage or looseness of the skin. Theresa is an expert and will help you decide which is more beneficial for you.
3 levels of Chemical Peels we offer
Superficial peels (sometimes referred to as “lunchtime peels”)
These are the mildest, and require little downtime. You may experience some redness for 20 minutes to half an hour afterward, and you may experience some dryness or flaking over the course of a few days, but otherwise, you can get back to business as usual. Superficial peels are good for treating fine lines and wrinkles, large pores and dark spots, and to help tighten the skin. It is great to have one of these peels several days before your “special” event.
Medium-depth Chemical Peels
These can help treat skin that has a significant amount of photodamage, sun spots, mild to moderate acne scars, crepey skin under the eyes or dark circles. These peels require more “down time and recovery”.
Deep-depth
The deepest peels, target more serious skin issues such as severe acne scars, excessive sun damage or looseness of the skin. Deep-depth peels may not be suitable for those with darker skin tones, as they could result in scarring or hypopigmentation. These peels require more “down time and recovery” as well as follow up skin care.
A comprehensive skin care program is recommended, especially after chemical peels. Talk with Theresa for more information about the Lira Clinical products available.
